“Let’s hope Jason eats the same things I do-” Jason didn’t wait for much of an answer. He just took off down the gravel road and headed back into the city. He stopped at the first drive through and ordered food for two, giving Roy a wink as he handed him the food, he took off again. Only stopping once he had Roy back where he picked him up. “Here you are Harper. Home.”
Roy jumped off the bike, bags of food in hand. “Thanks, Jay. For the food and taking me shooting.” He nods in thanks. “I’ll tell you if I win the bet! And we’ll definitely have to catch up again and go training sometime soon. Alright?”
He nodded, not really sure what to say any more. He didn’t want Roy to go but he knew it was for the best that he did. His own Jason was inside waiting for him. And with their weird past Jase really didn’t want to tempt fate today. “Just text me. Later Harper.”
Roy grins and waves. “Sure thing. See ya, Todd. And say hi to Terra for me.” He continues to wave as Jason drives off before he leaves to enter his apartment. Roy enjoys hanging around the other Jason and counting the differences between him and his own Jason.

“It’s fine. I can just take you home.” Jason shifted out from under Roy. After their kiss The older Jason was keeping a closer on him and he really didn’t want to piss him off. Fighting himself never sounded as much fun as kissing himself. “maybe some other time.” He turned and headed back to his bike, hoping the red head would follow without too much of a fight.
Roy raised an eyebrow but followed behind Jason. He had spent enough time around his Jason to be fluent in Jasonese, and something seemed to be bothering this Jason, but he tried to shrug it off. “Kay. Definitely some other time.” After Jason hopped onto his bike, Roy followed, jumping onto the back and settling in once more. “Thanks for taking me to the range, I appreciated it.”
“I told you I would, didn’t I?” Jason smirked over his shoulder at the ginger. He felt like in another time they could have been friends but as it was now he really just didn’t want to deal with pissing any one off. He had done enough of that with a few others who were dating. He revved the bike. “You want to just head straight home? I can grab you some food first- for you guys.”
“Oh, uh sure, if you want.” Roy shrugged. He never was one to pass on food, and now that he though about it, he was pretty hungry. His stomach growling could almost overshadowed the roar of the motorcycle engine. The archer grinned back at Jason.

At Jason’s wink, Roy had to laugh. He had his own unique set of charm that set him apart from the Jason back at his apartment. Roy listened to Jason’s advice carefully, calculating his own observations. Each shot he took was better than the last. Put any weapon in his hands, even ones that didn’t shoot, and it didn’t take Roy too long to master it. There was a reason he took up the moniker ’Arsenal’.
He nodded watching. The ginger was skilled- he would give him that. “Better- ” Jason pulled the target closer “keep this up and you might be able to beat him.” He was doing well. Jason was starting to think him being there was almost a moot point. Roy just needed a gun in his hands and that was all. Jason lined up another target. The moved on to line up a few more in other booths. “Just run through them-” While Roy took his shots Jason moved outside and stretched. Roy didn’t need to be babysat- he had it under control so Jason let him be. making his way around to check out the archery range.
Roy was so focused on the matter at hand, he hadn’t noticed when Jason wandered away. While shooting a gun didn’t have the same satisfaction as sending an arrow whiz through the air, Roy had to admit it was fun. He almost wanted to see if he could rent some other guns and try them out. Roy eventually switched from holding the gun in both hands to holding it in one, like he knows Jason does. After getting the hang of that, too, he pulled the earphones down to his neck and returned the gun, along with any leftover ammo. If the dozens of paper scored with bullet marks was any sign, he was definitely used to shooting a gun again.
Done with shooting, that left Roy to wander around the unfamiliar range in search for Jason. He was slightly surprised to find the other man in the archery range. “What’s up, Jason? Interested in archery?”
Jason shifted to look at the man walking up to him. He had lost track of time and was gone longer than he though- “Sorry- meant to come back for you. Did you want to try your hand at other guns or…” He let the question die out. Not really wanting to seem like he had other ideas. Jason wanted to get back into his training, he missed the feeling of a sword but he didn’t want to ask. After having so many people end up backing out he just left it alone any more.
Roy rested his elbow on Jason’s shoulder, which was slightly awkward because younger or not, this Jason still had that extra inch on Roy. ”Don’t worry about it.” He shrugged. “I dunno, I don’t think Jason’s going to hand me a shotgun or anything, so it won’t be too hard to adjust to his guns.” The redhead turns to look at Jason. “Was there anything you had in mind? If we hurried back, we might be able to start that hand to hand if you want, but I can’t stick around too long. Jay might get jealous.” He grinned.

That's what we do with people we love, we bug the hell out of them.
*smiles softly* Yeah, I guess that’s true enough.
Roy flashed a grin at Jason. “You got it, Boss.” Though Roy found it pretty unnecessary, he slid the earphones over his ears and put the goggle over his eyes. He wasn’t that formally trained in guns, Oliver only going over the basics, but just like the first time with a bow, he was a natural with them. Getting into a firing stance, Roy shot only once. The kickback threw him off guard, and the bullet hit far to the top of the target. The usual archer stilled, his body tense and eyes calculating. The next shots came rapidly, bunched together on the target, just shy of dead center.
Letting out a deep breath, Roy lowered the gun before tugging down the earphones. “Rustier than I thought I was,” he commented, expecting better results. Roy was used to getting bulls eyes. All the time.
Jason pulled the target to them, then took it down. He looked over the marks and smirked. “Good job Harper. These are clean, and clustered shots.” Jason turned to hang another target. “You have to stop thinking with a bow- Guns aren’t about hitting the center.” Jason set the paper target back and leaned against the wall, watching the red head. “With guns it’s more about getting your shots close together. You want to aim of course, but the object is to stay within that aim. It doesn’t matter where you hit. As long as each shot stays within that targeted zone. Get me? Try again-“
Roy twirled the gun around his finger like something you would see in some Western flick- he had switched on the safety to make sure the gun didn’t go off by accident. He frowned, thinking. “Now that I think about it, I don’t know how to prove I’m better than Jason at shooting other than hitting a bulls eye. That’s how it works in archery, obviously. The one closest to the center is the better shot.” Sliding the earphones on his ears again, he aimed again. This time, there were three bunches of clustered shots, though nearly each one resembled one or two large holes instead of separate bullet shots. Idly, Roy wondered if it was possible to hit a bullet through an already existing bullet hole. Sort of like Robin Hood, when he shot an arrow directly on the end of another.
Jason pulled the target back and his smirk grew. “Nice shooting. With gun’s it would be who has the highest score.” He turned to look at the older man and gave him a wink. “Try and keep your shots far enough a part that they leave there own mark. Bullets wont do damage if they just pass through the same hole.” He set up another target and set it back. “It’s a balancing game. Close but not too close. Again.”

Roy listened to Jason’s advice carefully, calculating his own observations. Each shot he took was better than the last. Roy saw the wrinkle of Jason’s forehead, indicating pain. Logically, Roy knew Jason could take far worse pain, and the burn he felt was hardly nothing. But it still made the older man want to lean up and kiss the pain away, reassure Jason that it wouldn’t hurt for long, and remind him how much he was loved. Instead, Roy remained down, Jason’s hand on his shoulder keeping him still.
As the finger worked deeper inside of Jason slowly, the hand pulling Jason’s ass open slid down, wrapping itself around Jason’s own hand. Together, Roy pleasured each of them, his hand over Jason’s, making it feel much more intimate. His breath stuttering, the archer stared up at Jason, love and adoration mixing in with the lust in his eyes. The wet digit now slowly thrust in and out of Jason, curling inside every so often to help stretch the walls.
Staring at Roy, Jason had to lean in and kiss him. He couldn’t handle the intensity of the emotion the archer was trying to express, still couldn’t quite be comfortable with how much Roy meant to him, and how much he meant to Roy. It overwhelmed him every time he saw Roy looking at him like that, so unaccustomed to affection and love as he was. He knew Roy meant it. And that was what made it so hard to grasp.
Roy’s had was calloused and warm over his own, following Jason’s slow and even strokes over their shafts. Jason broke from the kiss with a soft gasp, Roy’s finger losing the edge of pain inside of him and starting to feel good. Roy hadn’t yet hit his prostate, but the feeling of the archer being inside of him for the first time made Jason want to speed things along and get Roy truly in him, taking him the way Jason had taken him already. Slowly, Jason started to rock back into Roy’s hand, getting himself used to the intrusion.
The kiss was soft and languid, their usual hard and vigorous pace replaced with a more tender one. This was their first time together and having Jason bottom, Roy was certain that it meant something big for the other man to relinquish control like that. When the kiss broke, they both panted, sharing the same heated air. “Jay, you’re so tight.” Roy bit his lip. “Can’t wait to be inside you.”
When Jason began to rock back against him, Roy took it as a signal to work in a second finger. Carefully, the next digit slid its way next to the first, and Roy began to scissor. He stretched the tight entrance, fingers now searching, twisting, and curving. Roy wanted to his Jason’s prostate, make him cry out in pleasure and forget about any of the pain.
